Wives, Mothers and Grandmothers

We are sexual beings, even though you have confined us to a specific role.

This series of watercolours is intended as a statement of female empowerment, though it could be easily misinterpreted. I have observed that many of my female friends change their profile pictures on social media from a certain age onwards and no longer show themselves. This inspired me to create this series.
